Over 166 km of footpaths cover the region, winding through forests, open space, wine yards, pastures and high altitude. *
Hikers will discover a unique natural site and the high quality of the trails. The bisses (artificial small water canals), built in the 15th century, run along most footpaths. Two of these bisses lead to the Zeuzier dam takes about 2h30m of walking. The high mountain trails also lead to the Wildhorn Glacier and the Col du Rawyl Mountain Pass at 3’247m.
* A detailed topographic map of the region is available on sale at the Tourist Office. Detailed descriptions of sites and points of interest are edited in English, French and German.
